Determine the A/R value correctly:
The  A/R value determines the exhaust gas throughput of the exhaust housing  and is therefore largely responsible for the performance of the  turbocharger and engine. Basically, the following applies: The smaller  the A/R value, the earlier the turbocharger responds, but on the other  hand the exhaust back pressure increases and the maximum power drops.
